Blue Topaz Productions LLC is a production company that aims to bring the next exciting new works in theatre, film, and dance to life.

Long story short: we believe in great art and we love making it happen. We are actively expanding our versatile repertoire and seeking out new works.

PATTI MAURER is the proud Founder of Blue Topaz Productions LLC. Broadway Producing credits include: Tuck Everlasting, General Partner in the Alexis Funds with Come From Away, Hello Dolly!, The Front Page, Tina, Hadestown, The Book of Mormon (Aus) and heading to Broadway in 2024, Little Dancer. Shows in development are Ain’t Done Bad and My Pet Dragon. Regional credits include: Evita (Choreographer), Mary Poppins, 9 to 5 (Ass’t Choreographer), Singing in the Rain, 42nd Street, Anything Goes!, How to Succeed in Business, The Drowsy Chaperone (Ass’t Choreographer), Hello Dolly!, Hooray for Hollywood, My Fair Lady, The Producers, A Chorus Line and Sweet Charity. Maurer was awarded BWW South Carolina's Arts Educator of the Decade in 2020! Maurer previously co-founded 35th Parallel Productions LLC. Maurer is the Artistic and Performing Arts Director at Hilton Head Preparatory School, Island School Council for the Arts (Executive Director), Crescendo Committee (Vice Chair) and Arts Council of Hilton Head (Vice Chair). Maurer was also named Zonta’s Woman of the Year in 2023.

CASSIE MAURER is an Associate Producer with Blue Topaz Productions LLC. She received a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, as well as a Minor in Media Production. While at UC, she served as the inaugural Executive Producer for UC’s Mosaic Theatre Ensemble, a student-run theatre company that provides opportunities to students from marginalized backgrounds.  In addition to performing at renowned theaters such as Ogunquit Playhouse, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts among others, Cassie served as Director and Producer for the award-winning feature film BOOKED, which continues to receive acclaim across the country, garnering multiple awards from film festivals including “Best of Fest”, “Best Narrative Feature Film”, “Best Comedy Feature”, and more. Based in New York City, Cassie serves as the NYC representative for Blue Topaz Productions LLC and leads the charge to expand our Film & Digital Media division.

RASHAD V. CHAMBERS is a Tony Award-winning producer, talent manager, and lawyer. Rashad recently produced the New York premiere of the award-winning musical Little Girl Blue: The Nina Simone Musical.  His Broadway producing credits include American Son, Ain’t Too Proud, Betrayal, The Inheritance, Caroline, or Change, The Music Man and Topdog/Underdog.  Rashad attended Morehouse College where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He also earned his JD and MBA degrees from The Ohio State University. Rashad is a founding member of The Industry Standard Group as well as a board member of On Broadway Performing Arts Training Program and Houses on the Moon Theater Company. Rashad currently serves as an Executive Producer with Evan Bernardin Productions.

MICHAEL JACKOWITZ started working in the commercial theater in 1995 with The Food Chain, by Nicky Silver at Westside (Arts) Theater.  Over the years he has produced many other commercial ventures, non-profit productions and an opera. In 2013, he founded WitzEnd Productions to create and develop new works in the theater. Current productions:  Some Like it HOT (recently ended run at Shubert Theater, Broadway, National Tour Sept 2024),  A Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond Musical (Broadhurst Theatre, Broadway),  Harmony, the Musical by Barry Manilow (Barrymore Theater), How to Dance in Ohio (Belasco Theater), 1660 Vine, a digital theater film (Streaming Musicals), Once on This Island, 2018 TONY AWARD Best Revival of a Musical (currently on National Tour) and Escape to Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett (currently on National Tour). Estella Scrooge a modern re-telling of A Christmas Carol by John Caird and Paul Gordon (Streaming Musicals). ANITA WAXMAN has won multiple Tony Awards and produced Pulitzer Prize winning plays. Current/Upcoming: Height of the Storm, Tina, Lempicka, Terra Firma, Marie, and The Library. (Tony Award), Escape to Margaritaville, The Band’s Visit (Tony Award), Cabaret (Tony Award), The Real Thing (Tony Award), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Tony Award), Topdog/Underdog (Pulitzer Prize), The Young Man from Atlanta (Pulitzer Prize), Dr. Zhivago, Enron, Mrs. Klein, The Front Page, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, A Little Night Music, Electra, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Moon For The Misbegotten, and Present Laughter. Anita is also the Co-founder and Director of Ceras Health and has been involved with healthcare technology and the development of new modalities that have changed the course of medicine over the past thirty-five years.
